App Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work:

• Your account: when you use the app we create an anonymous account identified by a randomly generated ID. We do not require your name, email address, or a password.
• Profile information you provide: sex, age, height, current weight, goal weight, activity level, and your dietary preferences and allergies. We use these to calculate your calorie target and generate your meal plans.
• Your activity in the app: the weight entries you log over time, the meals you rate or swap, and the meal plans and grocery lists generated for you.
• Basic technical data: like most apps, our infrastructure provider automatically processes limited technical information (such as IP address and device type) to operate, secure, and debug the app.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.

How we use your information

• Operate the app — calculate your calorie and macro targets, generate and adjust your meal plans, build your grocery list, and show your progress over time.
• Maintain, improve, and secure the app.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not require an email address to use the app.

How your information is stored

Your information is stored in our backend, provided by Supabase, and the app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. These providers process data on our behalf only as needed to run the app, and data may be processed in the United States.

We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and data deletion

• In the app: you can erase your data at any time from Settings → Reset my data, which deletes your profile, meal plans, grocery state, and weigh-ins.
• You may also request access to or deletion of your information by emailing decisionsai.official@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

FoodAuto is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
