These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FoodAuto mobile app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
FoodAuto is a meal-planning and weight-management tool. Based on the information you provide, it estimates a daily calorie target and generates daily and weekly meal plans and grocery lists, and it lets you log and track your weight over time.
FoodAuto is for general informational and wellness purposes only. It is not medical, nutritional, or healthcare advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Calorie targets, macronutrient figures, and meal suggestions are automated estimates generated from the data you enter and may not be accurate or appropriate for you.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet, weight-loss, or exercise program — especially if you are under 18, pregnant or nursing, or have any medical condition, food allergy, or a history of disordered eating. You are responsible for confirming that any meal or ingredient is safe and suitable for you, including with respect to allergies. You use FoodAuto at your own risk.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use FoodAuto only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
The App creates an anonymous account tied to your device; no email or password is required. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your device. You can erase your data at any time from Settings → Reset my data. See our App Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

The App and its content — including the software, branding, and the meal plans and recipes we provide — are owned by or licensed to FoodAuto and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use. Recipes are adapted from a variety of sources for your personal use only.
The App relies on third parties, including Supabase, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. Your use of the App may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that meal plans, calorie figures, or other outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for you, or that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoodAuto and the individuals and entities that operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any health outcomes, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FoodAuto and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend, limit, or discontinue the App (or your access to it) at any time. You may stop using the App and delete your data at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which FoodAuto operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
